The artist and designer Adonis Alcici discovered his artistic side when he was a child. Hundreds of drawings drawn since he was two years old have pointed out what path that passion for paper and pencil would take.Born in 1990 and raised in Itapira, countryside of São Paulo, he has always enjoyed attending drawing contests. In fact, he accomplished a series of municipal awards and articles in newspapers. The passion for motorcycles and cars started early, under the influence of his father and family members.
He started his path at fifteen years old, when he attended a Discovery Channel contest, promoted by the renowned automotive designer Chip Foose. It was in this competition, in which he placed second and met his great idol, that he decided to focus on his work in the automotive universe. . Between 2008 and 2018, Adonis was invited to attend countless events to show his work, such as vehicle launches, old car conventions, super sports car races, auto racing competitions, design fairs, among others. The enormous demand from the public for information related to the automotive theme, made the passion for teaching grow more and more.
PASSION FOR CARS AND MOTORCYCLES
Besides the automotive design online course, Adonis has been part of dozens of events, speeches, workshops, and courses around Brazil. In addition to that, Adonis was the instructor of the courses “Graphic and Product Design” and “Advertising and Marketing” for three years, at FACAMP, Campinas/SP. He has already taught over 1,400 students. Complete training in both areas of Design - graphic and product - combined with passion for art, made it possible for Adonis to develop great learning and evolution on his projects.
As an automotive designer, Adonis has participated in projects for Honda, Chery and Hyundai. As a self-taught plastic artist and entrepreneur, he has done a series of projects for companies such as Porsche, Porsche Cup, BMW, Globo TV, Formula 1, Triumph, Honda, among others. Today, he is represented by Marcelo Neves. Adonis’ artwork pieces are exhibited at Marcelo Neves Art Gallery in São Paulo, and at luxurious car dealerships on Europa Avenue and Gabriel Monteiro Avenue.
With an artistic style that refers to impressionism, his artwork and sketch production carry a feeling of challenge and achievement, and are inspired by vehicle design, movement and speed. Adonis seeks to transmit even more emotion to the artwork observation experience by using technology and augmented reality. His goal is to create an even more complete and iterative interaction, honing the senses of vision and hearing through the digital world.
